Steve Lacy Is Back: Everything You Need to Know About His New Album 'Oh yeah?'

It has been four years since Steve Lacy shook up the charts with Gemini Rights and had everyone screaming the lyrics to his chart-topping hit "Bad Habit." The Compton-born multi-instrumentalist is finally ready to follow up that Grammy-winning run. According to a report from Complex, Lacy is dropping his third studio album, Oh yeah?, on July 17, 2026, via RCA Records. True to form, the 10-track project is entirely self-written and self-produced. Lacy took the creative freedom from his massive success to focus on lyric-driven writing, even recording parts of the record over in Paris. The features on this thing are heavy, too. SZA joins him on "Is It Cool?," experimental pop artist Cecile Believe links up for "Lovesexdrugbomb," and the legendary Erykah Badu shows up on "Pure Colour."
