Death Row Records is keeping the classic West Coast lineage alive. California legends Snoop Dogg and Kurupt have reunited for a brand-new single titled "Me N The Boyz." According to a report by HotNewHipHop, the track is produced by none other than DJ Battlecat, bringing that undeniable L.A. chemistry back to the forefront. Battlecat builds the track on a heavy funk foundation. Horns and soulful background vocals craft a bright melody, while aggressive drums and sharp claps crash underneath the pocket. Both Snoop and Kurupt deliver steady, locked-in flows, maintaining their signature smoothness over the dense, noisy production. Kurupt even skates through his verse with bars about "bankrolls, bank accounts crazy as f***" alongside Dre and Snoop. This is just pure, unadulterated G-funk for the summer.
