Master P and Birdman Put the Beef Aside to Save Lives

By ellis·July 8, 2026·1 min read

The nineties Southern rap landscape was completely dominated by two juggernauts out of New Orleans. You either repped the tank or you repped the high-rise. For decades, No Limit and Cash Money existed as parallel empires, but a real-deal bridge has finally been built. Master P and Birdman are officially co-headlining a massive 17-city arena tour, and the No Limit general is making it clear that this run is way bigger than a simple nostalgia trip. Speaking with Ferrari and BT on the Baller Alert Show at the BET Media House, Master P broke down how the two moguls finally put their legendary rivalry to bed. According to the interview, it all came down to mutual respect and their shared roots in the 504. The tour roster is a Southern hip-hop head's dream: Cash Money is bringing out Birdman, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, and B.G., while No Limit counter-attacks with P, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Choppa Style, and Mr. Serv-On, with Boosie tagging along as a special guest. The tour kicks off September 11 at the Toyota Center in Houston and wraps up November 15 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, stopping by New Orleans' Smoothie King Center on September 12. But the real weight of this link-up is the mission behind it. Master P revealed that the tour is actively raising awareness and supporting his New Orleans-based nonprofit, the Team Hope Foundation, to tackle mental health struggles in the community. He noted that street guys often suffer in silence, and he wants this historic link-up to show the younger generation that unity is the only way forward. It is grown-man business at its absolute finest.
