Jay-Z Brings Out Eminem, Pharrell, and Slick Rick for 'The Blueprint' 25th Anniversary at Yankee Stadium
Jay-Z just took over the Bronx to celebrate a quarter-century of his undisputed classic, "The Blueprint." According to reporting from Variety, the Brooklyn icon hit Yankee Stadium on Saturday for a highly anticipated anniversary show. Hov kept the energy concentrated, running through a curated 90-minute set list that honored the 2001 masterpiece that solidified his legendary status in the culture. Instead of overloading the stage with endless cameos, Jay kept the guest list incredibly tight but massively impactful. He brought out Eminem to recreate their lyrical sparring match on "Renegade," tapped Pharrell Williams to bring that signature Virginia bounce, and even trotted out the legendary Slick Rick. It was a masterclass in restraint from a certified GOAT.
