In Rotation: Enphamus

When a 23-year-old out of Albany, Georgia manages to pull a genuine Project Pat feature for his debut album, you check the paperwork. Enphamus isn’t an industry illusion. He caught his first real wave back in 2021 during an Instagram Live freestyle session with HotBoii. Instead of letting that viral moment fizzle out, he used it to lay bricks. Fast forward to his debut album No Biggie, released this past July via ONErpm. The kid has already racked up over 88 million U.S. streams, and you can hear exactly why on the official video for "Secret Indictment." Getting Project Pat on a track is a Memphis cheat code, but Enphamus holds his own ground. The 808s drag like a blown-out trunk speaker. Enphamus attacks the pocket with a dense, muddy delivery, punching his syllables right on the snare. We get a similar energy on "Max Payne" alongside Young Nudy. I'll be honest—a lot of the younger artists coming up through the Atlanta ecosystem right now put out lazy sh*t. They let the atmospheric trap production do all the work. Enphamus actually raps. He treats a beat like a heavy bag, actively fighting the tempo and pushing the rhythm forward. The ecosystem is finally catching up to the work ethic. While the "Secret Indictment" video circulates, his track "You Scared" is currently tearing through the DSPs. It just cracked Spotify's Most Necessary and Apple Music's The New Atlanta playlists. Terrestrial radio is biting too. Stations from Houston’s KBXX to his own backyard at WWPW Atlanta are putting him in heavy rotation. He survived the viral era because he actually has bars.
