Wait, who is Sidney Phillips? I just saw her track "Dirty Glamour" pop up at #6 on Spotify’s Fresh Finds, and I had to stop. Turns out she’s the self-proclaimed Queen of Australian Underground Rap. Straight out of Brisbane, this trans adlay and stealthyn00b collective member has been spitting melancholic gutter rap since her 2022 debut. She just dropped her album Penance this year, and now she's crossing oceans. Her sound is weird, internet-obsessed, and totally unapologetic. If you aren't paying attention to what's coming out of Oz, you're slipping.
