Hold up. The title alone made me double-take. Lucy Frost just landed her new single "Sh*t Kicker" onto Spotify’s Fresh Finds (#17) and Fresh Finds Pop (#3). Normal alt-pop girls play it safe, but the Boston-bred singer-composer pivots from her usual anxious, ghostly bedroom-pop vibe (remember her track "Lines"?) into something way more aggressive. She’s gearing up for a whole album, and if this new track is any indicator, she’s about to start crashing out in the best way possible. Keep your eyes on her.
