I was scanning Spotify early this morning and saw Brisbane's Lottie McLeod landed her track 'Wednesdays at the Waterloo' at #40 on the #NowWatching playlist. Had to stop. This 18-year-old indie-pop songwriter has been building serious buzz down under since being named Triple J’s Unearthed Feature Artist. She started writing to cope with losing her dad in 2021, and that raw, Phoebe Bridgers-esque vulnerability is all over her ABC Music releases like her EP, *The Boat House*. Keep your eyes on this one.
