Hmm... Hot Like Mars

Chicago’s Hot Like Mars is popping up on my radar, and I’m paying attention. This quintet has been blending Motown soul with heavy jam-band rock since late 2023, but they just leveled up. They’re dropping a nine-track live album, *Live From Brooklyn*, capturing their crazy March debut at the Brooklyn Bowl. Mixed by their own guitarist Frankie "Lightning" Minella, it’s pure, unfiltered energy. If you like your R&B with some serious guitar firepower, look them up before their 2026 tour sells out. Trust me on this one.
