Girl Talk Links With Michael Christmas & Chris Crack For New EP
Gregg Gillis is back to parsing through the underground's most entertaining minds. The producer known as Girl Talk is dropping a new collaborative EP titled *Don’t Come to My House Sharing Your Location* on August 14. This time around, he is sharing the marquee with Boston’s Michael Christmas and Chicago’s Chris Crack. According to Pitchfork, the project is coming out via C&G Records and Illegal Art, the same label that handled Gillis' classic run of sample-heavy albums in the 2000s. To set the tone, the trio dropped the video for the lead single, "Vending Machine Charcuterie Board." The visual finds the three artists walking around Gillis’ hometown of Pittsburgh over a beat that pairs a dusty soul chop with some heavy drum programming. Christmas and Crack trade verses with their usual sharp humor, proving they are the perfect match for Gillis’ production style. It is his first major move since dropping the single "Believe in Ya" with Yaeji and T-Pain last year. This is pure fun. Check it out below.
