McComb went all out to celebrate their hometown hero, who moved to California as a child but spent her childhood summers in Mississippi. The city honored her with multiple tributes, including the first-ever key to Pike County. Brandy even donated personal memorabilia—including props from Moesha, a signed vinyl copy of her debut album, and her first Brandy doll—to help kickstart a new local music museum set to open in 2027.
