Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
It is only right that on the eighth of the month, Cleveland's finest got their permanent flowers. On Wednesday afternoon, July 8, all five members of the legendary rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony gathered in Los Angeles to receive their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. According to reporting from Billboard, the ceremony drew an massive crowd that shut down the block. Industry heavyweights turned out in droves, with Katt Williams, Lil Eazy-E, Ray J, and Ras Kass in attendance. Radio icon Big Boy, Ice-T, and Fat Joe took the podium to honor the group. Joe recalled how the group treated him with respect when they were selling millions and he was still finding his footing. "These guys went and they was the Michael Jacksons," Joe said during the presentation. "They went and sold like 30 million records; I sold like two copies. They never acted funny with me." Ice-T highlighted the group's pioneering vocal style, which merged rapid-fire lyricism with melodic harmony. It is a blueprint that modern rap still relies on heavily. This honor is overdue. Signed to Ruthless Records by Eazy-E in the mid-90s, the crew secured two Billboard 200 number-one albums with 1995's E. 1999 Eternal and 1997's The Art of War. Their legendary tribute "Tha Crossroads" ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks in 1996. Seeing Krayzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone stand together healthy and celebrated in 2026 is a rare, beautiful victory for hip-hop's golden era. Fans can watch the full ceremony stream online now via the Walk of Fame's official channels.
