Beyoncé Reconnects with Pharrell and The-Dream on Surprise Single 'Morning Dew (Donk)'

Beyoncé has surprise-released "Morning Dew (Donk)," her first new material since 2024's Cowboy Carter. Co-written with long-time collaborators Pharrell, The-Dream, and Darius Dixson, and co-produced by Pharrell and Beyoncé, the track serves as a direct nod to her fanbase ahead of a major milestone. The release is accompanied by a nostalgic visual featuring archival footage shot by photographer Cliff Watts. The single is the first taste of an upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of her sophomore album, B'Day. Originally released in 2006, the high-octane, horn-heavy LP solidified her solo dominance post-Destiny's Child. By bringing back the production minds who helped shape her mid-2000s transition, the new track bridges her current experimental era with the sweat-drenched R&B of her early solo catalog.
