The Air Jordan 9 "Space Jam" Gets A Release Date

Jordan Brand is tapping straight into movie nostalgia for the 30th anniversary of *Space Jam*. According to HotNewHipHop, the Air Jordan 9 "Space Jam" is officially locked in for a September 19th release at $215. Nike originally planned to drop these earlier this summer but pushed the date back to anchor a bigger fall rollout. This marks the sixth retro of the colorway, complete with the classic white leather upper, black leather mudguard, and True Red accents on the tongue, heel "23," and sole. For the true collectors, Jordan Brand is actually fixing the mold. The 2026 version ditches the rounded retro shape of recent years, bringing the silhouette much closer to the original 1993 cut. You even get special Tune Squad themed box art to match the cinematic history. Michael Jordan never actually ran these on an NBA court during his career, but lacing them up in Tune World made them permanent history. This is pure nostalgia. Check them out below.
