The Air Jordan 6 "Oreo" Finally Gets Its First-Ever Retro Release

By GQ·August 9, 2026·1 min read

Jordan Brand is finally feeding the streets what they’ve been begging for. The Air Jordan 6 "Oreo" is officially back for its first-ever retro release. HotNewHipHop reports that sneakerheads have waited 16 years for this coveted colorway to resurface, making this August 8th drop one of the most anticipated releases on a very crowded Jordan calendar. The drop also perfectly aligns with the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 silhouette. The design keeps things simple. Black leather covers the toe box and side panels, while crisp white leather overlays create that signature high-contrast split. The famous speckled detailing returns on the midsole, heel spoiler, and lace lock. Jordan Brand did make one key update to the original 2010 blueprint: the outsole now features a translucent blue tint instead of clear rubber, which helps fight off yellowing. These are going to sell out fast. Grab yours for $215 at Nike SNKRS and Foot Locker. Check them out below.
