50 Cent’s Classic Reebok G-Unit G6 Is Finally Returning
In 2003, G-Unit had the streets in an absolute chokehold. Between Get Rich or Die Tryin' spinning on repeat and Beg for Mercy on the horizon, 50 Cent teamed up with Reebok to drop the G-Unit G6. It became an instant hood classic. Now, more than two decades later, the iconic red, white, and blue colorway is making a return. According to reporting from New York, Reebok is dropping a 1:1 retro of the original silhouette. They didn't mess with the formula either. The retro features the premium white leather and suede upper, the signature grey suede toe cap, and the silver G6 lace dubrae. The blue "G-Unit" embroidery sits clean on the lateral heel right above that icy outsole. In a statement, 50 noted the sneaker represents a special time in his career and hip-hop culture. It's a time capsule from an era when rap completely dictated what went on your feet. The Reebok x G-Unit G6 drops August 20 at 10 A.M. ET for $130 on Reebok's website and select retailers. Sizing runs unisex from 3.5 to 14. Don't sleep on these.
